My name is Jason Moreton, 32 year old father of three boys and proud owner of MoreTone Fitness in York. Exercise has been a big part of my life since a young age, I have over 8 years experience in the fitness industry, with 7 of those being my own boss here at MoreTone Fitness. I'm passionate about how health and fitness can improve our lives and create a positive and healthy future for us and our children.
Making fitness and improved health accessible and achievable to more people is a huge goal of mine! Whether through 1:1 personal training, group classes or online coaching, I want to make it that everyone who wants to be part of MoreTone Fitness can be wherever they are.
I love working with people to help them build strong, healthy habits that can be passed down to their children along with bringing people together and enjoying fitness as a community, and that is exactly what we have at MoreTone Fitness.
Kat is a 200 hours qualified yoga teacher living in York. She teaches dynamic yoga- which is a flow based style of yoga- moving through each posture in time with your breath to create energy and build fitness. Classes always begin with breath work and a gentle warm up; moving to a faster pace before stretching and relaxing at the end.
Kat started practicing yoga regularly roughly 20 years ago, and after experiencing a period of anxiety following the health problems of her son…. got hooked! She found the combination of movement and breath helped enormously with physical and mental health; and she trained as a teacher in 2018 to pass on the benefits and the love of yoga to others. Whilst she enjoys teaching an energetic class, there is always a focus on breath, mindful movement, connection to the self, and always options to decrease or increase the intensity of the poses. She brings a natural energy, sense of humour and zero judgement to her classes, caring more about how you feel than how you look.
